A Common Problem In Our House

Christmas Wit

This Picture is about a Kangaroo named Little Joey and reporters say he ruined Christmas.

This is a picture of a dog saving a snowman. If you notice, the dog has a collar that has hot chocolate on it.
This an Emperor Penguin. He is really taking Christmas seriously. You can see all of his presents below him.

These are your common forest animals. They are upset they don't have a reindeer but instead they have make one out of Mr. Moose.
This is our livingroom on Christmas Eve Night. Aidan and I catch Santa going up the chimney. Mom and Dad are sleeping.
This is Comet's new invention. It's an ultimate sleigh ride. The penguins are having fun.

Cutie Pals

These are the Cutie Pals. Bumble is my favorite. The order of my favorites is Bumble, Chicky, Chipper, Puppy and Kitty. These are just some characters I made up and I call them the Cutie Pals because they are cute (because of their big eyes).

Kieran's Dragons

These are five out of seven of Kieran's Spiral Dragon collection. Their names are Frostbite, Viola, Firemite, Torgan, and Sunami. Each dragon represents a color of the spectrum and one of her cousins. Kieran's dragon is Viola. The other two are MIA.

SPROUTCUT

This comic was written by Kieran before I created Comic Paper to keep her cells straight.
I LOVE her use of expression to reveal things about her characters. She says that Rose, the barkber is new and that she is not very good. Notice the sign on the outside of the Barkber Shop ( if you can't read it because you have a screen smaller than 24", I'll tell you that it says "Be Bald").

I also love Kieran's ability to resolve issues. On Thanksgiving, I give thanks to Kieran, Sproutcut and the Universe that gave me the opportunity to be her adoring Mother and early publisher.

SPROUTCUT EPILOGUE

I
I like the last one, "I'll use this leaf as a hat"

Oh, by the way, I cant keep up with the coloring in of Kieran's comics. She doesn't have the patience to color them in and I don't have the time, so enjoy the ones that have color!

Halloween Creatures

These are just a scant few of the Halloween Creatures I have created.  BOO!

Dragon and cat in costume

These are done in sharpie on the concrete floor of our garage. My parents are pretty cool, aren't they?!

These are all the people in my third grade class as dogs.  I'm the cute Rotweiller with the purple bow.

Tiger is ready to go shopping.

This is me and my friend Courtney. I am the peacock.

We could do a whole book on dragons. They are one of my favorite creatures to draw.

This wizard is acrylic on canvas. He is NOT a witch!

Dragon rider!

Pegasus.
It is a little bit tricky for me to do my drawings with a paintbrush.

This picture isn't really as Halloweeny as the last ones but, it's cute. The seals are two characters in a comic I did for Mom for Mother's Day.

Happy Halloween!

My Name is Buzz

This comic was written for my friend Lucas. His dog is named Buzz. Buzz is a really cute, really smart Aussie Shephard. I made this for Lucas' birthday.

Introducing Kieran Meaney Comix!

Hi! I'm Kieran. I have been reading books since  I could sit up and pull them off the shelf. When I was about six or seven months old, my mom used to prop me up with pillows in front of my special book cupboard. I would pull out one book at a time, looking carefully at each page, until I had looked at each and every book. My mom would take a nap on the couch while I read. I never learned to crawl, not like I wanted to anyway, unless it was to crawl over to some books or pens or paper or paint.

I started drawing when I was three. I started drawing characters like bunny family, frog kids and kitten people when I was four. My pictures always told a story.

I am nine now. I have been drawing nonstop since then. I draw, write books, write comics and have had three of my own big squares at I Madonnari, the Italian Street Painting Festival.

I can't stop telling stories with my art. I can't even stop when it is time to go to bed or go to school. Sometimes, my mom screams at me to PUT THE PEN DOWN!

Don't get me wrong, my mom loves my art. She says I am her favorite artist and she says I have a gift and I got going on it early. So, to show how much she loves me, she is making this blog, so I can share my creations. Just as soon as she can figure out how to scan my work, and fit it all in to her busy schedule, you will have lots to look at and read and enjoy.

My photo
Hi. My name is Kieran Meaney. I have been drawing since I was 3, cartooning since I was 8, and animating since I was 10. My cousins call me Waggytail, ('Tis fun!) and I love the outdoors and creating. I will be the youngest person without a Facebook in my grade and I likes bugs. X3
